Our core regular session is on Monday evenings at 6.45pm (meet from 6.30pm). We start and finish at Didsbury Sports Ground on Ford Lane. Use What3words to find Didsbury Sports Ground ///lands.frost.narrow.
We have group runs (around 5k or 10k) with paces ranging from 8min/mile to 12min/mile.
Each group is led by a run leader and we often have a tail runner for larger groups.
After each run we have a social drink and food in the Club house.
Didsbury Sports Ground has paid parking. As a member of Didsbury Runners, while attending club sessions you are entitled to free parking, but to obtain this you must register your car details using the console in the clubhouse/bar. A penalty will be charged of up to £100 if you fail to do this (or otherwise fail to pay for parking), so please remember.
Note that when attending non-club events like parkrun, you may need to pay for parking or purchase something in the bar (which will enable you to use the bar console).
We lead intervals and track sessions on a Wednesday night, usually at Trafford Athletic Club track in Longford Park. These are on every week. Meet at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start and finish at 7.30pm.

In addition, on the first Wednesday of every month, we run a hill reps session at the Heaton Mersey Bowl.

In addition, the club organises ad-hoc social runs, trail runs, parkrun meetups, and other social events. Members of the club will also organise their own meetups, both running and social, through the Facebook group and WhatsApp community.
In the winter we take part in the Cross-country league which runs from October to February (see info below). Throughout the year, club members will often take part in key local events such as Sale Sizzlers, Manchester Marathon and the Great Manchester run. Please see the Race list for details.
